Chris'  Kayaking Adventures
Some Great Websites!!
Frontenac Oufitters An amazing couple run this store and a great place to test out kayaks. The Delta and Tahe Marine lines are great! The BEST outfitter in eastern Ontario!!! My Number 1 choice for Paddle Canada Level 1 course!!!
Paddleshack Ottawa    A good local store for camping and kayaking and you can try out several ones!
MECMountain Equipment Coop says it all. The best place to get lightweight high-tech camping gear and great reviews
Killarney Outfitters  A great place  to go to tour Georgian Bay...the owner is cool and will also let you camp on his back door! These are the northern Ontario experts!!
PaddleCanada  If you want certification for courses anywhere in Canada this is the place to see who is offering what and where!
Carleton University Whitewater Kayak ClubIf you really want to learn how to roll a kayak in a pool over the winter this is the place as they meet weekly...bunch of young ones but really good instructors!!! It transfers to seakayaking too!!
Madawaska Kanu Centre     Great place to take the kids or friends for whitewater rafting, kayaking and they offer some good courses!
Paddling.net Magazine   A great resource for kayaking articles and gear reviews....ignore the canoe stuff lol !!
Naturally Superior Adventures  ok...you know you are serious and you want a level II  or III course and the biggest water in North America...this group out of Lake Superior are the ones you want!! The only other possible comparable courses would be in B.C. !!!!

See The Sea B&B   Best B&B in Torbay Nfld! But hey I'm biased, the owner is my mom....ahhhhhh!
Ottawa River Musky Factory  My longtime friend John Anderson  runs this near Wendover on the Ottawa River. He is the best Musky Guide for Eastern Ontario. Book a session with him...it will be a blast!
GalesStorm Gathering  Ok...you have taken your Paddle Canada Level 2 sea kayaking course and you want more...this is the best opportunity to encounter ocean-like conditions in November on fresh water and be taught by some of the top coaches in Canada and the world...you have to like the cold, the waves  and be somewhat crazy...definitely on my "bucket list"!! This is for intermediate/advanced paddlers. There is nothing else in Canada like this and every other year they move it around parts of Lake Superior to the Canada and U.S. side.
